This Privacy Policy explains how Yochum Software (”Yochum Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use AppMettle™.
1. Information we collect
When you run a scan, we collect the public website address you submit and the resulting report, including findings, score, scan timing, and the pages checked. Our hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may also process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
2. How we use information
We use this information to run the scan, create and retrieve reports, support re-scans and shared report links, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent misuse, improve AppMettle, and comply with applicable law.
3. Scan limits and technical safeguards
To limit automated abuse, AppMettle may create a one-way technical fingerprint from ordinary request information such as IP address and browser details. We store the resulting hash for a limited rate-limit window rather than storing the raw IP address in the scan-limit record.

If you purchase a Repair Pack or Journey Test, our payment provider processes payment and related transaction information under its own privacy terms. We receive transaction identifiers and payment status needed to confirm the purchase and provide access. We may also share information with providers that help us host, secure, maintain, and operate AppMettle; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
6. Journey Test credentials and browser processing
If you run an authorized Journey Test, temporary test-account credentials and your expected outcome are transmitted to our browser-automation provider so it can operate the selected journey. AppMettle does not place the submitted password in the saved scan report or Journey Test record. The provider processes the values to perform the run under its own terms and privacy practices. Use a unique temporary password, never a personal password, and remove the test account when testing is complete.
7. Public websites and permission
AppMettle is intended to inspect publicly available websites. By submitting a URL, you represent that you own the site or are authorized to scan it. AppMettle does not require source-code access and does not intentionally sign in, submit forms, or make purchases during a public scan.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain scan information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. To request deletion of a report or ask a privacy question, contact us through yochumsoftware.com and include the report link.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Children
AppMettle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as AppMettle changes. The effective date at the top will show when the current version took effect. Your continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to your use.
